Nick Brown named operations director, INTECSEA ANZ region

INTECSEA today announced the appointment of Nick Brown as operations director for the Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) region. In this role, Nick will provide leadership to INTECSEA’s Perth and Melbourne offices, with a focus on driving sustainable growth and profitability.
This move follows Geeta Thakorlal’s recent promotion to president of INTECSEA.
Nick joined INTECSEA in 2015 as group manager of asset management, subsea and pipelines, and brings over 30 years of pipeline and subsea systems engineering, project management, and hydrocarbon asset operations management experience. He has a proven track record in subsea and pipeline asset development and managing multi-discipline teams.
Nick has spent the last 20 years focused on delivery of Australian subsea gas development projects for a range of clients including Woodside and Chevron. He also has substantial international experience delivering North Sea and Mediterranean pipeline projects and managing hydrocarbon assets for operators including Statoil, British Gas and Agip, working for contractors including Snamprogetti, Reinertsen, and Technip.

Nick earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in natural gas engineering from the University of Salford in Manchester, and is a Chartered member of IGEM in the UK.
