INTECSEA has been supporting its Clients’ offshore Arctic field developments through concept selection, implementation and operational support of oil and gas transportation systems. Key features of offshore Arctic field developments are their remote locations and harsh, yet environmentally sensitive conditions. This places increased project importance on designing, installing and operating safe, reliable and economical oil and gas transportation systems. INTECSEA has extensive experience with integrating pipeline systems and, to a lesser extent, tanker systems into offshore Arctic field developments. This often includes addressing the major role of oil and gas transportation systems in the overall project permit approval process, the field development schedule planning and project economics. Our understanding of interactions between major project components such as structures and logistical support is important for all phases of a successful field development.
