David Blacoe

Regional Senior VP Europe/Africa

David Blacoe, having over 40 years in the oil and gas industry, is INTECSEA’s Senior Vice President for the Europe and Africa region. His current role includes responsibility for the growth and financial performance of our three current operations in Woking, Delft and Cairo and for enlarging our footprint into Russia/Eastern Europe and West Africa.

Blacoe started in the offshore engineering sector on conventional platform developments in the North Sea in the early 1970’s. He then moved into the fledgling ‘subsea completions’ sector in the early 1980’s, which included a frontier project offshore Spain in 750 metres in the Western Mediterranean.

Blacoe graduated from King’s College, University of London, with an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Member of both the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Energy Institute and is a registered Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom.
